The Madrigals Singers Dinner Show is less than one month away. It’s an exciting time!  The kids are working hard on the script, their music, and the overall show. These last few weeks before the show do require some parent support and involvement to ensure a successful show.  Download Information about Costumes, Parade, and Help Needed

MADRIGAL SINGERS -- Download the Parent Info Packet for Madrigal Singers

Parents play an important role in the success of our Madrigal Singers group. While the majority of work is done by students and the instructor during the fall trimester, there are several important events throughout the fall that need volunteers and parent support. The Madrigal Singers Dinner Theater is the premier event for our students and it is the largest fundraiser for our high school choir programs. Parents of our Madrigal Singers become active members of the choir community and it is a fun way to connect with students and support the school.

We ask that all parents mark their calendars to volunteer for the November 16-19 performances and dinner theater. New this year, we are adding asilent auction to this fundraiser. There is a wide variety of opportunities for sharing time and talents including:

  • Advertising and Publicity

  • Costumes, Jewelry, Props, Maik-up and Hair

  • Environment Set-up, Tear-down and Dishes

  • Food Preparation and Servicing

  • Sound and Lights / Videography and

  • Tickets

  • Volunteer Coordination

  • Chaperone for events in the community (e.g. Anoka Halloween Parade)

SHOW CHOIRS -- Download Parent Info Packet for Show Choir

This award-winning, extra-curricular activity provides our St. Francis High School students with a fun and educational opportunity as they work through the year on perfecting their performance and vocals. Parents play an important role in the success of this program through their support and encouragement of our show choirs. We are fortunate to offer both varsity (Bridge Street Singers) and junior varsity (Prima Voce) choirs so more students are able to participate. Together there are almost 100 students involved, which requires many help in many areas. Some of the primary volunteer needs are:

  • Communications and Promotions

  • Fundraising

  • Sewing, make-up, costumes

  • Driving the trailer of props to competitions

  • Making and serving food for choreography camps or other day-long practices

All parents with a show choir student need to submit their contact information via the online form. We need this information to send communications, update you about our activities, and learn about the talents you can share to support our kids.
