Hello, StartFragment We are so blessed to have such a strong fine arts program within the ISD 15 schools. We have amazing students, who are working hard to continue to bring excellence to the choral arts culture, while achieving excellence, respect, compassion, and growth. Public speaking is sometimes ranked as one of the top social fears people possess, so consider a culture where students not only feel comfortable speaking in front of six hundred people, but sing with such confidence … what a gift! This life-changing experience embraces a culture that allows students to grow, while instilling self confidence that will carry them throughout their entire lives. If you agree this culture

Orders can still be made online Independently. Wreaths will be delivered to Jenny Rosengrens house before thanksgiving.
By now, your choir student should have received forms and information about the wreath fundraiser from their choir director. This is an individual fundraiser available to all choir students (not just show choir) and proceeds go to the individual student's account for choir related expenses (to help pay for show choir, choir trips, etc). Students may use the forms provided from the director to sell door- to - door, contact / post, etc. Orders from those forms are due NOVEMBER 2nd.
For those students who are all distance learning, or who do not feel comfortable going door to door, there is an online ordering option called "gift it forward" that can be distributed online. (if your student is doing hybrid learning and did not get a hard copy of the flier, but would like one, they will need to talk with their director).
Here is a link to a form you can download: https://drive.google.com/.../1MzZs3qrpn8j4LmbL61M.../view...
this can be sent / posted and people can follow the link to complete the order entirely online. There is a link and directions to follow for easy ordering. Students should direct people to order through this direct form because it assures the student gets the credit for the sale.
If you have further questions, please contact the directors, Jenny Rosengren or Jenn Semler.

40th Annual Madrigal Dinner News:
The good news is that the Madrigal tradition will continue, with the class happening in the spring 2021 trimester! Due to Covid restrictions, we will be working to find creative options for performances and / or food. One thing is for sure, the 40th annual Madrigal season will be memorable!
Our Show Choir consists of performers with competitive advanced understanding of music skills, vocal tones, and dance techniques. Many have theater and stage performance experience as dramatic expressions and movements are a part of every performance. Musical numbers are choreographed to live music, collectively singing and dancing in a show that lasts about 20 minutes. Strong command of breathing techniques is essential to an excellent vocal performance.
The full Show Choir consists of the choir, about ten band members, and six crew members. As an extra-curricular activity that begins in September, students rehearse multiple times per week. Competition season begins in January with several weekend competitions on Saturdays through late March.
